We celebrate Christmas, like most of our friends and family. Unfortunately, we sometimes get caught up in the commercialism of Christmas like most of our friends and family. I can honestly say I have never looked back to any Christmas past and said, "Wow, I remember how great that Christmas was because I got ______." I have though many many times said, "Wow, I remember how great that Christmas was because he, she, we, shared time and laughed and had meaning to our conversation." I pray for us and all our friends and family that you too share time with someone special to you and that time is so filled with comfort, peace and joy that you carry it throughout the years. As for my faith, maybe I'm missing something but Christmas is not the time it yanks me back to the truth of my faith, that will always be Easter.
